October 9-12, 2026
Grants Pass, Oregon
This retreat is a field of sunflowers!
The retreat quilt pattern will be a surprise using Riley Blake Sunflower Whispers fabric. You will get all the fabric for the top and binding.
We will learn to make a Dresden plate quilt block that will look like a sunflower.
We will have optional classes teaching several binding techniques and making a clam shell bag.
As always, lunch will be catered each day.
The friendship quilt will feature sunflower or other yellow fabric and be raffled off on the last day.
Hotel is not included. There are many hotels in Grants Pass, including the Lodge at Riverside located next door.

All things Lori Holt!
We were able to see several of Lori's completed quilt patterns. We choses from 2 different quilt top kits to choose from, Spacious Sky and Sew Happy.
We learned how to applique Lori's way and completed an adorable chicken quilt block.
We made Lori's design boards and had a bag class and a sewing machine mat class!

We had a lovely early Christmas celebration with a Christmas Quilt! We learned how to Foundation Paper Piece and ate delicious food!

We had a great vacation, quilting at the coast! We made a beautiful baby quilt with Moda's Dainty Meadow fabric. we learned how to English Paper Piece and made wonderful new quilting family!
